Kinstretch®
Strength & Mobility for Your Joints

What is Kinstretch®?

Kinstretch® is a movement enhancement system that helps develop maximum body control, flexibility and usable ranges of motion in the body through isolated joint training. Bones and joints makeup the framework of the human body. Joints are physical structures where parts of our skeleton merge together with soft tissue (muscles and connective tissue). Joints, along with the nervous system, allow the human body to move.

Every joint in the body evolved to move in dynamic, fundamental movement patterns. Think of your joints as the employees of your body. Each joint has a unique biomechanical job to perform so you can move! In Kinstretch® we isolate and train these fundamental movement patters so each joint - and it’s surrounding soft tissues - are strong, in control, and resilient.

“I already exercise. Where does Kinstretch® fit in?”

The mainstream fitness industry was invented to combat obesity due to our increasingly sedentary modern lifestyle. Fitness trends began to emerge that focused heavily on weight loss and utilized exercises with limited ranges of motion, repetitive patterns, and linear movements. The more limited our lifestyle and training, the more limited our ability to move becomes. The phase “Move it, or loose it” has never been more true.

Kinstretch® helps fill in your movement gaps. For example, if you’re a runner you will be great at flexing (bending) your hip, however, if all you do is run than your hip is going to loose its capacity to rotate, extend (lengthen), adduct (cross midline) and abduct (away from midline). Losing capacity of the hip’s fundamental functions encourages compensations patterns, aches, pains, and injuries. You don’t have to stop running, you need to train your hip joint to do more than flex. This is where mobility training comes in. Think of Kinstretch® as a multi vitamin for your joints!
